Breukelen, The Netherlands – March 2nd, 2022
Following a successful initial trial of GRASP’s security checkpoint management system on a single security lane, GRASP and Rotterdam The Hague Airport have agreed to extend to their entire security checkpoint.
The extension will provide an opportunity to further develop and prove our value, with rising passenger numbers. Providing security supervisors with real-time insights to discover bottlenecks and immediately improve the use of infrastructure and resources. Making the entire security checkpoint perform at its max with less workforce without compromising on security and passenger satisfaction.
Robert Schuur (GRASP): “The extension to the entire checkpoint will enable us to prove the value our product has in an operational environment. Working together with the team at Rotterdam The Hague has been great, they have an innovative mindset and are eager to support GRASP in this development. ”
Floris Tammes, Director Airport Operations (RTHA): “Rotterdam The Hague Airport is happy to develop itself as an innovation partner. The airport is very suitable to execute small scale trials of innovative technologies and we can assist in further development.
The solution developed by GRASP Innovations fits this bill and can potentially improve the passenger experience and optimise business operations.”
