The security checkpoint management system is an effective tool to manage daily operations and enables deep performance analyses within airport security checkpoints. It combines granular data gathered through our IR-UWB radars and in-depth knowledge on a complex process into our unique solution.
You’ll have the opportunity to help decide and shape the future of our future solutions.
We’re looking for a Senior/Medior Front-End developer to join our growing team (9 developers). You will be working with market leading airports, security companies and technology integrators.
What you’ll do
Develop our front-end data management platform to show the data that is captured from our fleet of IoT IR-UWB radar devices. This platform is a live application and post-event analysis, working in different environments (clients). Next to the platform we also have several wayfinding screens connected to GCP that need FE-development.
You’ll be working within the tech team consisting of a frontender, backenders and a data scientist. Your work consists of:
- Develop and implement user interfaces using HTML, SCSS, Angular, and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with the design team to translate wireframes and mockups into functional UI components.
- Ensure responsiveness and cross-browser compatibility of web applications.
- Optimize application performance for maximum speed and scalability.
- Conduct thorough testing and debugging of front-end code.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in front-end development.
- Work closely with back-end developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Be a coach to people in the team, especially the other front-end developer.
Our techstack
- Backend; Python, Django, Postgres, NATS.
- Frontend: Angular, SCSS, RxJS, State Management, TypeScript.
- Infrastructure: GCP, K8S, Terraform.
- We expect experience in Angular, RxJS, State Management.
- Nice to have: Library experience like D3.js and PrimeNG
You have
- A bachelor’s degree related to information technology, software engineering or computer science or proven experience to compensate.
- 4+ years of experience.
- Proficient in HTML, Angular, and TypeScript, with a deep understanding of their respective ecosystems.
- Familiarity with version control systems like Git and code collaboration platforms like GitLab.
- Ability to optimize web performance and understand web performance metrics.
- Understanding of UI/UX design principles and ability to collaborate effectively with design teams.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively in a team environment.
